6 Things I'm Loving
I wanted to pop in and tell you all about a couple of things I am loving for Fall. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably see these in my stories weekly because I love them so much. Here is a quick recap of the top 6 things I'm loving right now.
This sweater from Target is so soft and you all know my obsession for all things animal print runs deep and the deepest ocean. I wanted it to be super relaxed fitting so I sized up to a medium. I'd normally wear a small. P.S. It's on clearance for $18 so I'd grab it now... all sized are stocked, but they won't be for long.
The Fall weather transition is hard to manage anywhere, but it's especially difficult in the desert I'm finding out. This Shea Butter Body Cream is crazy hydrating and I find that it's one of the only body lotions that will keep me from getting ashy halfway through the day. IT. FEELS. AMAZING!!! Full body, long lasting, anti aging hydration at its finest people! Plus it pulls double duty as makeup remover that leaves your face softer than you've ever felt in your life.
Just rub a quarter size scoop around your face, paying special attention to your lashes if you've got waterproof mascara or liner on, then wipe it off with a warm wash cloth. Everything literally just melts right off your face, leaving it super clean and soft. Follow up with your regular cleansing and moisturizing night time routine.
Rabbit Ear & Bow Tied scrunchies are all over right now and I've found some super cute ones at Old Navy and Walmart. The Mart is seriously stepping up it's game so Target better watch out! These Old Navy ones are 20% off with code SWEET. These are my faves from Walmart, but you can only grab them in store. Then there are my original favorites from Amazon... you get 12 for $8 so they make amazing gifts and stocking stuffers.
Do not sleep on the Kids and Men's sections at Target and Walmart! I found this super comfy long sleeved tee in the Men's section at Walmart for $8!!! It comes in a ton of colors and has a relaxed fit. I'm wearing a small, but could have sized down to xs for a tighter fit. I personally love the longer sleeve and oversized look though. I'm heading back to get more this week. I might grab these elongated pocket tees when I go back because they would make the perfect tunic for leggings, boots and a cardigan!
This combo is the holy grail of surviving Fall! It's especially useful for my kiddos. Poor Gavin had a pretty severe dry patch under his lip that was red, flakey and angry. I would put this Lip Balm on it a couple times a day and it cleared up super fast while giving him some immediate relief. Lennie uses it daily and I always know that I can ask him for some anytime of day because it permanently resides in his pant pocket.
It is wax free which means your lips can actually breath, absorb hydration and shed dead skin cells. (Did you know most Lip Balms and Chapsticks actually do the opposite and that is why your lips can never feel hydrated and smooth without it???) Free your lips people!!!
Speaking of shedding dead skin cells, sometimes your lips need a little help in that department. I use this conditioning lip polish 2x a week and it's done wonders for my lips. Anytime I feel like they are a little dry or flakey, I give them a quick scrub with this Lip Smooth and follow up with the Lip Balm. Bam!!! Back to being soft and happy. Bonus: it smells like vanilla cupcakes... doesn't taste like though so resist the urge to lick it off lol.
The maid has clearly been boycotting cleaning the mirrors in our house (and by maid, I mean me) however you can still appreciate this other killer Walmart find! Brown, black and white will forever be my favorite color pallet, but I do have this sweater in blue too cause it was such a good deal. Take a stroll through their current sweater selection and try not to buy all of them. I dare you!
