Quick and Easy Valentine's Day Garland

Like every other red blooded woman I love spending time in the Target Dollar Spot.  There are so many opportunities for creativity hidden in those little white shelves and when I saw these gift tags and paper straws I knew exactly what I was going to make with them.  Here is a tutorial for a cute little Valentine's Day Garland that will take you all of 5 minutes from start to finish.  This craft is perfect to do with your little ones or just to complete yourself during nap time.

Easy and Quick Valentine's Day craft

The supplies for this craft totaled $4 and I had enough left to do another craft!  I snagged these at Target, but you might even have supplies like these in your junk drawer.

First you will want to cut the straws into 2 inch pieces.  You want them to be wide enough that the hearts won't overlap each other.

Quick and Easy Garland

On one side of your baker's twine tie a big enough knot that the straws will not be able to pass by it and fall off.  Then string your first straw piece.

Paper Straw Garland

Next tie on one of your conversation heart gift tags and follow with another piece of straw.  Simply alternate that for the length of your garland and tie it off at the end with another large knot.

That's it!  You're done.
